Reform the Port: Bridgegate-inspired repairs are still needed at trans-Hudson agency

With the U.S. Supreme Court wiping away the deserved felony raps for a trio of Bridgegate conspirators and President Trump tapping an unindicted Bridgegate plotter as his campaign manager, the shock of the 2013 turning of the George Washington Bridge into a weapon for political revenge has faded. And with it, apparently, any sense of urgency to reform the structurally dysfunctional bistate Port Authority, where Chris Christie’s henchmen ran wild.
